Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography, requiring ARRT-R and ARRT-M certification.

Details

Mammography department within a health network offering cardiovascular, imaging, and primary care services
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Floating may be required to a nearby primary care station location

Requirements

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required
Prior experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred
ARRT-R certification required
ARRT-M certification required in OR, preferred in CA and HI
State Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
BLS certification from an approved vendor required

Additional Information

Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms as ordered by physicians
Prepare for and assist radiologists during mammography exams including breast biopsies
Provide patient education while promoting privacy and comfort
Produce high-quality imaging for radiologist evaluation and complete accurate documentation
Follow infection control and safety guidelines
Escalate complex questions or challenges to senior staff as needed
Required vaccinations apply as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
