Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) prior to first shift; certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience; experience in progressive care unit (PCU); charge nurse experience; previous experience in a healthcare organization is highly desired; no specific years of experience are required
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a hospital setting
- Additional Information: The role involves performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, coordinating care plans, providing patient and family education, and ensuring safety policies are followed. The supervisor will also delegate tasks, oversee clinical documentation, participate in team building, and support operational efficiency. The position requires active participation in professional development and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of patient safety and care quality.
