Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery/LDRP RN to join a Perinatal Float Pool supporting high-risk labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Details

• Perinatal Float Pool position supporting Women's Services
• Float between Labor & Delivery Unit and Mother Baby Unit as needed, potentially every 4 hours
• Labor & Delivery Unit includes 12 labor rooms, 4-bed triage, 3 ORs, and a 2-bay PACU
• Mother Baby Unit has 27 beds serving low- and high-risk patients
• Triage unit sees patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• May float to a nearby affiliate hospital as required

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Active OR license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or postpartum RN experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required (charge RN references not accepted)

Additional Information

• Provide intrapartum, antepartum, and newborn care to low- and at-risk patient populations
• Care for high-risk labor and delivery as well as high-risk antepartum patients
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no mile radius restriction
• RTO requests must be submitted with application and cannot exceed 2 weeks
• Former OHSU employees or travelers must be gone at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Returning candidates must provide a reference from the OHSU manager who previously supervised them
