Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring a CA RN license, fetal heart monitoring certification, and prior L&D experience.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule, 36 or 48 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Floating required to Delano as needed
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• ACLS (AHA) or ALS (ARC) certification required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
• NRP (AHA) or NALS (ARC) certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 3 months

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses, care plans, and interventions
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe and healing environment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate healthcare team duties
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior licensure or certification issue will not be considered
