Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS/ALS, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and NRP/NALS certification.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 36 or 48 hour options, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Floating required to Delano as needed
• Holiday RTO will not be approved

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior hits on license permitted

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs nursing staff activities and coordinates care across disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment
• Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and develop care plans
• Implements care plans, evaluates patient progress, and adjusts strategies to promote a safe healing environment
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Delegates duties appropriately among healthcare team members
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
