- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Float Areas: MFMU, Mother-Baby, NICU
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients
- Ability to provide immediate newborn care and support postpartum transitions
- Preferred: circulating experience in Labor & Delivery or OB settings
- Required certifications: BLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and NRP
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, adaptable healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C procedures, cerclage, and C-hyst cases as assigned
- Monitor fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring equipment and respond to changes in patient condition
- Assist with high-risk obstetric care and collaborate with providers on labor and delivery nursing interventions
- Deliver immediate newborn assessment, stabilization, and care following delivery
- Work closely with charge nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to support excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
