Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Strong immediate newborn care and stabilization skills
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to adapt quickly in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment
• Preferred: Circulating experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, mothers, and newborns
• Support vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections in a busy Labor & Delivery unit
• Assist with high-risk obstetric care and immediate newborn stabilization
• Monitor fetal status using advanced electronic fetal monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with charge nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
• Float as needed to related women’s health and newborn care areas based on unit needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit policies and clinical standards
