Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department, Los Angeles. Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and applies critical thinking and independent judgment to promote safe, effective patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree; acute care facility experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing health education, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating duties to healthcare team members. Electronic health record experience is required. Holiday availability is required.
