Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Sweetwater County. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care in a busy hospital setting. The role requires managing antepartum care, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, newborn stabilization, and neonatal resuscitation, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: WY State or compact nursing license; BLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN certifications; minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and special care nursery.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Self-scheduling with other staff, including two weekends per month and two holidays if applicable.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with basic tasks in medical or emergency departments as needed; participate in unit-specific training and orientation including a two-day EMR system onboarding.
  • Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS (AHA), NRP.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal intensive care.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Submission Requirement: License to submit is required.
