  • Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Wyoming State or compact nursing license; BLS, NRP certifications; Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and special care nursery; Intermediate AWHONN certification

  • Responsibilities:
    • Care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
    • Assist with neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
    • Manage postpartum and neonatal patient needs
    • Use computerized charting, medication systems, and electronic fetal monitoring equipment
    • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Schedule Requirements: Self-scheduling, with two weekends and two holidays per month; occasional floating to medical and emergency departments to assist with basic tasks
  • Additional Information: Two-day orientation on electronic medical record system, workflows, and supplies; no current call requirements, but may be adjusted based on departmental needs
