**Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Labor and Delivery (RN) - **Assignment Length:** 13 or 26 Weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift:** Night 3x12 (19:00 - 07:30) or 4x12 - **Experience Required:** Minimum 1 year experience - **First Timers Accepted:** Yes - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP - **Skills Required:** - Charge experience preferred or willing to train - **On-call Requirement:** No - **Weekend Requirement:** Yes - Every other weekend - **Floating:** May float to like units as needed - **Block Schedule:** Not open to accommodating block schedule - **Locals Accepted:** No - Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility - **Pending License Accepted:** Yes, but must have license in hand for auto offer - **RTO Restrictions:** Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer; all RTO must be included in submittal - **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks **Unit Information:** - **Unit Type:** High Risk Labor and Delivery - **Capacity:** - OB Triage/Testing: 5-10 - Labor and Delivery/Antepartum: 7-14 - 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 OR Suites, 4 PACU Rooms - **Average Daily Deliveries:** Around 7, often up to 14 patients with inductions and high-risk antepartum - **Triage Patients:** Averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients with an influx of triage patients each day **Facility Information:** - **Type of Facility:** Acute Hospital - **Recognition:** Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska - **Total Staffed Beds:** 407 - **Scrub Color:** Provided - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking Cost:** Free parking available **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
