**Join Our Team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Labor and Delivery (RN) - **Assignment Length:** 13 or 26 Weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift:** 3x12 or 4x12 Nights - **Experience Required:** 1 year - **First Timers:** Welcomed! **Certifications Needed:** - BLS - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP **Skills Required:** - Charge Experience Preferred or willing to train as charge nurse **Schedule Details:** - **On-call Required:** No - **Weekend Requirement:** Yes - every other weekend - **Floating Policy:** May float to like units if needed - **Block Schedule Accommodation:** No - **Local Candidates:** Not accepted - Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility **Additional Information:** - **Pending License:** Accepted, but must have license in hand for Auto Offer - **RTO Restrictions:** Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submittal. - **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks. **Unit Overview:** - Specialize in OB Triage/Testing (5-10 beds) - 7-14 Labor and Delivery/Antepartum beds - High-Risk Labor and Delivery unit - 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 OR Suites, 4 PACU Rooms - Average Daily Deliveries: 7 (up to 14 patients with inductions and high-risk antepartum) - OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients alongside a daily influx of triage patients **Facility Overview:** - Type: Acute Hospital - Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, Recognized as Best Hospital in Alaska - Total Staffed Beds: 407 - **Scrub Color:** Provided - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking:** Free Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
