**Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Assignment Length:** 13 or 26 Weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift:** 3x12 or 4x12 Nights - **Years of Experience Required:** 1 - **First Timers Accepted:** Yes - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP - **Skills Required:** Charge experience preferred or willing to train as charge - **On-call Requirement:** No - **Weekend Requirement:** Yes - every other - **Floating Requirement:** May float to like units if needed - **Block Schedule Accommodation:** No - **Local Candidates:** No - Must be at least 50 miles from the facility - **Pending License Accepted:** Yes, but auto offer requires RN license in hand - **RTO Restrictions:** Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer; all RTO must be included in submittal - **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 Hours per 2 weeks; traveler may be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks **Unit Information:** - **OB Triage:** 5-10 patients - **Labor/Delivery/Antepartum:** 7-14 patients - **Overview:** - High Risk Labor and Delivery Unit - 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 OR Suites, 4 PACU Rooms - Average Daily Deliveries: 7, with potential for up to 14 patients including inductions and high-risk antepartum patients. - OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients daily, along with inflow of triage patients. **Facility Information:** - **Facility Type:** Acute Hospital - **Recognition:** Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska - **Total Staffed Beds:** 407 - **Scrub Color:** Provided - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking:** Free parking available **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
