**Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team!** - **Position:** Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - **Assignment Length:** Choose between 13 or 26 weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift:** Night shifts available - 3x12 or 4x12 - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 1 year in labor and delivery - **First-Time Travelers Accepted:** Yes, we welcome you! - **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - **Skills Required:** - Charge experience preferred or willingness to train for charge responsibilities - **On-Call Requirement:** No - **Weekend Requirement:** Yes - every other weekend - **Floating:** May float to like units as needed - **Block Schedule Accommodation:** Not available - **Local Candidates:** Not accepted; candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility - **Pending Licenses:** Accepted, but must have RN license in hand for automatic offer - **RTO (Request Time Off) Restrictions:** Time off will be considered on an individual basis upon offer; all RTO must be included in submission - **Guaranteed Hours:** 60 hours every 2 weeks; potential for one call-off per 2 weeks **Unit Information:** - **OB Triage/Testing:** 5-10 patients - **Labor Delivery/Antepartum:** 7-14 patients - **Specialty:** High-Risk Labor and Delivery - **Facilities:** - 10 OB Triage Rooms - 10 LDR Rooms - 3 OR Suites - 4 PACU Rooms - **Average Daily Deliveries:** Approximately 7, but can manage up to 14 patients including inductions and high-risk antepartum - **OB Triage:** Averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients, with daily influx of triage patients **Facility Information:** - **Type of Facility:** Acute Hospital - **Recognition:** Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma Center, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska - **Total Staffed Beds:** 407 - **Scrub Color:** Provided - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking:** Free parking available **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
