Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Compact RN license required at submission, if applicable
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP required
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics strongly preferred
• Comfort working in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Mother-Baby care areas
• Ability to float based on patient care needs
• Reliable transportation required for the assignment
• References required during the compliance process

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and support safe, effective couplet care
• Support cesarean section preparation and recovery as needed
• Perform newborn assessments and provide immediate neonatal support when required
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and obstetric interventions per protocol
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to promote safe patient outcomes
• Float between Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Antepartum areas based on unit needs
