- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,380

- Orientation: 36 hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: May be required if canceled on scheduled days
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license with compact eligibility in hand at time of submission
- At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Certifications required: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
- Experience supporting high-risk OB patients and newborn care
- Comfortable floating between Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Antepartum as needed
- Must have reliable transportation for the assignment
- Ability to work 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day
- Two professional references covering the last year of experience within the past 3 years
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Support high-risk deliveries and assist with fetal monitoring and maternal assessments
- Perform labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum nursing care
- Assist with C-sections and related obstetric procedures when needed
- Care for mother-baby and antepartum patients based on unit needs
- Recognize and respond to changes in maternal and fetal conditions
- Document accurately in Epic and maintain timely communication with the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote a positive patient experience through skilled, attentive bedside care
