Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Issaquah, WA 98029

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Issaquah, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Contract duration of 13 or 26 weeks available. Staffing ratio 1:1-3. Float to Post-Partum and potentially other nearby units based on skill set and facility needs.

• Holiday flexibility – only required to work 1 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Years/Eve), with ability to request up to 2 major holidays off
• 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms supporting 200-300 facility births per month
• Comprehensive Labor and Delivery experience including low risk antepartum, circulating for C-sections, and attending high-risk deliveries
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active Washington state RN license or valid Compact license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with blood/blood product administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, anticoagulation therapy, magnesium sulfate, and insulin drips
• Proficiency in triage of obstetrical patients, sterile vaginal exams, IUPC placement and calibration, and recovery of C-section patients
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
