Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Edmonds, WA 98026

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Edmonds, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Float to sister facilities as needed.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a comprehensive family birthing center
• Work with diverse patient populations including labor and delivery, postpartum, OB triage, antepartum, and normal newborn care
• Facility delivers 200-300 births per month with staffing ratios of 1:1-3
• LDRP model with opportunities to circulate in cesarean sections and manage high-risk cases
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements:

• Active Washington state RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Required certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Proficiency in vaginal and cesarean deliveries, circulating in OR, IV starts, blood product administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Experience with high-risk antepartum and labor & delivery patients
• Clean background check required (no Nursys or background hits accepted)
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Must be separated from any affiliated health system for minimum 3 months if previously employed as permanent staff
