Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Edmonds, WA 98026

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Edmonds, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Assignment duration is 13 weeks. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Floating to sister facilities may be required as needed.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn care experience
• Work with a full spectrum of obstetrical patients including high-risk antepartum and delivery cases
• Circulate for cesarean sections in the OR and recover post-operative patients
• LDRP model with couplet care; staffing ratio of 1:1-3 patients
• Facility performs 200-300 births per month with Epic charting system
• Orientation provided with 40 hours of onboarding support

Requirements:

• Active Washington state RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care
• Required certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS certification preferred
• Proficiency in starting and maintaining adult IVs, administering blood/blood products, managing drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, insulin, and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Experience with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, circulating in OR, high-risk antepartum and delivery, OB triage, and sterile vaginal exams
• Competency with IUPC placement and calibration, central line maintenance, and isolation precautions
• Epic charting experience required
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• Clean background check required; candidates with background or Nursys hits cannot be considered
• Must not have been a permanent employee at any affiliated facility within the past 3 months
