Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Portland, OR. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are ready to take on the challenges of a high-risk OB unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Float between units as needed based on patient care requirements.
  • Participate in on-call shifts as scheduled.
  • Work weekends on an every-other-weekend basis.
  • Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 couplets.
  • Adapt to shift changes with adequate notice.

Special Requirements:

  • Must have experience in High Risk OB.
  • Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
  • Travelers may be required to float to other units and facilities within the healthcare system.

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital with 418 staffed beds. Scrub colors are flexible, with specific colors provided for OR/L&D staff. Charting is done through Epic, and there is no parking fee for employees.

If floating to Seaside, there is a $5/hr incentive for hours worked, plus IRS Mileage reimbursement. If floating for consecutive shifts, a hotel may be provided.
