We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team in a leading acute-care hospital in Portland, OR. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will make a significant impact on patient care.

The L&D RN will float between units as needed, with a focus on High Risk OB and floating to MBU and PSCU. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1, ensuring personalized care for each patient. This role requires on-call availability for scheduled days if there are cancellations, and weekend shifts are required every other weekend.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Floating to other units based on skill sets and facility needs.
• Adhering to shift schedules, which may include both day and night shifts.
• Utilizing Epic for charting and documentation.

Additional details:

• Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
• Travelers may float to other units and facilities, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.
• If floating to Seaside, an additional $5/hr incentive will be provided, along with IRS mileage reimbursement.
• Hospital highlights include a Short Term Acute Care facility with 418 staffed beds.
• Parking is free for employees.
