• Setting: Perinatal Newborn Float Pool
• Float Expectation: Between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units, with possible floating every 4 hours

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or postpartum RN experience required; 2+ years preferred for the strongest candidacy
• ACLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic experience required
• Ability to care for low-risk and at-risk antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Traditional AHA BLS/ACLS certification preferred; RQI not accepted
• Strong clinical flexibility and willingness to float within women’s services units
• Must be able to meet compliance, reference, and work history verification requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality intrapartum, antepartum, postpartum, and newborn care
• Support patients in Labor & Delivery, triage, OR/PACU, and Mother Baby settings as assigned
• Care for low- and high-risk obstetric patients with professionalism and compassion
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow across units
• Respond to the needs of a busy perinatal float pool environment with flexibility and strong communication skills
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit-based protocols
• Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment for women and newborns
