Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• Ability to work rotating days and nights, including weekends as needed
• Comfort with floating within the women & infants service line
• Strong clinical judgment in high-acuity obstetrical care
• Epic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor process
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk obstetrical situations
• Perform assessments, interventions, and patient education in accordance with unit standards
• Administer medications and support therapies commonly used in Labor & Delivery nursing
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalating clinical needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth unit workflow
