Experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a 26-week travel assignment in Seattle, WA 98122. Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• High-risk L&D experience required in a fast-paced obstetric care setting
• Current Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at submission if applicable
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring required
• Must be comfortable working in high-acuity, high-volume environments
• Ability to work every other weekend and selected holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to laboring patients and newborns in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with operative deliveries
• Function as Baby Nurse during delivery and continue newborn care until transfer to postpartum
• Perform newborn assessments, including eyes, thighs, and vitamin K-related newborn care
• Support patients receiving medications such as magnesium sulfate, insulin, and heparin per unit protocols
• Assist with fetal monitoring, high-risk deliveries, triage, and recovery care
• Float as needed to postpartum, antepartum, or other units with matching skill sets
• Deliver safe, compassionate, team-based care while following unit guidelines and best practices
