Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Seattle, WA 98122
Travel to Seattle and join a high-acuity Labor & Delivery nursing team in the 98122 area. This travel Registered Nurse opportunity is ideal for an experienced L&D RN who thrives in a fast-paced, high-risk women’s health environment and enjoys delivering exceptional maternal and newborn care.

- Shift: 4x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30)

- Orientation: 36 hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
- Weekend/Holiday Expectations: Work every other weekend and 3 of 5 major holidays as needed
- Float Requirements: May float to Postpartum, Antepartum, or nearby sister facilities based on skill set and unit needs
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- High-risk Labor & Delivery experience required
- Current compact or state RN license in hand at submission
- Epic charting experience required
- Required certifications: BLS and NRP
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Experience supporting patient ratios of 1:2 preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity maternity care environment
- Ability to provide references and complete compliance requirements prior to start
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and support safe deliveries
- Serve as Baby Nurse during delivery and continue newborn care until transfer to Postpartum
- Circulate for C-sections and provide newborn assessments, including eyes/thighs care and Vitamin K injections
- Monitor and respond to high-risk obstetric conditions and fetal monitoring needs
- Support medication management and clinical interventions including magnesium sulfate, insulin, and heparin when appropriate
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, recovery of C-sections, triage, and postpartum transition of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to maintain safe, efficient workflow in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit
- Float to related women’s health units as needed to support patient care
