• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
• Schedule: Every other weekend and selected holidays as needed
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Floating: May float to Postpartum, Antepartum, or nearby units based on skill set and unit needs

Job Requirements

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• High-risk obstetric experience strongly required
• Experience in fast-paced, high-acuity women’s health settings preferred
• Current BLS and NRP required
• ACLS and AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Must be willing to float within scope as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients and newborns in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit
• Circulate for C-sections and support safe delivery room workflows
• Act as Baby Nurse during delivery and continue newborn care until transfer to Postpartum
• Perform newborn assessments, including eyes, thighs, and vitamin K administration support
• Monitor and manage patients receiving medications such as Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin, and Heparin per unit protocols
• Support triage, high-risk deliveries, and recovery care in a busy obstetric setting
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered outcomes
• Float to Postpartum or Antepartum when needed and provide support across related women’s health units
