Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Schedule posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs.

Highlights:

• High-volume, high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit with 500-600 deliveries per month and 31 beds
• Comprehensive care environment with 4 operating rooms supporting all types of deliveries including high-risk obstetrics
• Diverse patient population including midwifery clients, private OB patients, and Adult Recovery Services supporting substance recovery
• Function as Baby Nurse during delivery and provide complete newborn care including assessments, eye prophylaxis, and vitamin K administration
• Circulate for cesarean sections and manage complex cases involving insulin drips, magnesium sulfate therapy, and anticoagulation
• 26-week assignment with orientation provided; first-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Active Washington state RN license or Compact license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
• High-risk obstetric experience required; ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic charting system experience and electronic fetal monitoring proficiency required
• Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections (hard requirement)
• Must be able to function as Baby Nurse with complete newborn care skills including injections and assessments (hard requirement)
• Willingness to float to Postpartum, Antepartum, and potentially sister facilities for Mother/Baby care
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
