• Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180

• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; up to 13 weekend shifts per contract
• EMR: EPIC
• Unit Setting: 15-bed LDRP unit with triage bays and operating rooms
• Location: Battle Creek, MI 49017

Job Requirements

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor & Delivery
• Experience working in all areas of LDRP required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM
• Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
• Experience with circulating and fetal heart monitoring/triage required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Ability to work with no RTO during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Supervisor-level references required
• Flu vaccination required; exemption requests must be submitted within 48 hours of signing

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and couplet care
• Support OR circulation, triage, and newborn care at delivery
• Perform lab draws and newborn hearing screens, with training provided on the screening process
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and respond appropriately to patient needs
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe, family-centered deliveries
• Float as needed to support patient care needs within the facility
• Maintain a calm, compassionate, and professional presence in a dynamic clinical setting
