• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Location: Battle Creek, Michigan
• Setting: 15-bed LDRP unit with triage bays and operating rooms
• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070-$2,180
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float to other areas as needed
• Charting System: EPIC
• Orientation: 24 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Valid Michigan RN license required
• Experience in OB nursing, Mother/Baby, and Labor & Delivery required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM
• Ability to work in all areas of LDRP
• Experience with fetal monitoring, triage, circulating, and scrub support preferred
• Must be available for every other weekend coverage
• No time off during the first two weeks of the contract

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Support circulating in the OR and assist as needed in scrub roles
• Perform fetal heart monitoring and triage functions
• Care for newborns at delivery and support couplet care
• Perform lab draws and newborn hearing screens after training
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, family-centered care
• Follow unit staffing guidelines and maintain excellent patient care standards
• Adapt to float assignments as needed within the facility
