Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Flexible 36 or 48-hour weekly options available. Weekend coverage required (6 weekends per contract; for day shifts Saturday and Sunday, for night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3. Daily census of 14 patients in a 15-bed LDRP unit.

• 13-week travel assignment in a busy Labor and Delivery unit with 100-200 facility births per month
• LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) model providing comprehensive maternal care
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• Opportunity to work with neonatal and adult patient populations in a dynamic environment
• Two positions available for immediate placement

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted for this assignment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN (Intermediate level or higher)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restriction: Candidates residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris counties are not eligible
