Job Requirements

• Active Kansas RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, obstetrics, or a closely related maternal care setting
• BLS, FHM, and NRP required
• AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly and provide safe, compassionate care in a team-based healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled Labor & Delivery nursing care for laboring patients, including high-risk pregnancies and obstetric complications
• Support OB triage, postpartum nursing, and couplet care workflows
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and external cephalic versions
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with conditions such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and other complex maternal needs
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the maternal care team to promote safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
• Deliver thorough patient education and support throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum experience
