Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and AWHONN fetal monitoring and NRP certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit (Unit 708)
• 13-week seasonal contract assignment
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or NCCEFM required
• Current NRP card (American Academy of Pediatrics, Advanced 9th Edition) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within the Labor & Delivery department
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• One professional reference required for consideration
