Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on night shift, requiring current hospital L&D experience and specialty certifications.

Details

• Delivery Room unit with 26 beds and a staff of 112
• Night shift team includes 1 CNC/Team Lead, 12 nurses, 2 surgical techs, and 1 unit clerk
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for high-risk labor and c-sections, 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, and PP on mag, and 1:3 for PP mag without baby or outpatients
• Performs circulating c-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler procedures
• Uses Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and GE CPN monitors
• EMR system used is Meditech/CPN
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital L&D RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP certification required (Advanced 9th Edition)
• Fetal monitoring certification required (Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN, or NCCEFM)
• High-risk LDR and circulating c-section experience preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
