• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 - $1,700
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• End Date: January 4, 2027
• Unit Highlights: Supportive 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit with electronic fetal monitoring and a dynamic, team-based care environment

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• High-risk Labor & Delivery experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• Current BLS certification
• NRP certification required
• Advanced fetal monitoring knowledge or certification
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, adaptable approach to patient care
• Circulating experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Support procedures such as D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst cases as needed
• Monitor fetal status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Deliver immediate newborn care and support smooth transitions of care
• Document patient care accurately and work effectively with electronic charting systems
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Float to related maternal and newborn care areas when assigned
