Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 25
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 5:1, 6:1
• Unit Staffing Description: Charge nurse/CNC on each shift with unit secretary when available.
• Documentation System: Connect, Expanse
• Scheduling Requirements: 3 weekend shifts per schedule
• Floating Policy: Must be willing to float to OBED, Mother Baby, and Labor & Delivery units.
• Patient Experience Requirements: Must be able to circulate in c-sections; experience in labor and delivery; familiarity with magnesium drips; gynecological experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requested Skills: High risk antepartum experience, labor and delivery experience, c-section experience, and magnesium drip management.
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN.
• Procedures Performed on Unit: C-sections, bereavement care, vaginal deliveries.
• Advanced Skills Needed: ACLS, NRP, AWHONN.

Dress Code

Required uniform: Navy blue, seal blue, or grey scrubs.
