Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit requiring neuro experience and ARRT registry in radiography.

Details

• Interventional Radiology work setting
• 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call requirements apply
• 30-minute meal break
• Uses computed tomography, fluoroscopy, and Philips and Siemens equipment
• May be subject to floating between facilities within the health system upon manager request

Requirements

• Current Illinois license through IEMA required if applicable
• ARRT registry in radiography required
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Neuro experience required
• 1 year of direct experience required, with Illinois license in hand at time of consideration
• BSN required
• ACLS and/or PALS through AHA required if applicable
• Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology preferred
• 1-3 years of Interventional Imaging experience preferred

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience required
• Skills checklist and 2 references required for consideration, with one reference from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the last year
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot be added afterward
• Employment history with Northwestern Medicine and any acquired facilities must be included if applicable
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate
• Non-licensed direct patient caregivers not listed as Work Eligibility Eligible in the IL Healthcare Worker Registry must travel to Illinois at least two Fridays before their start date for mandatory in-state fingerprinting
