Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment providing specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. These may include biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures.
• Oversee post-procedure recovery, including PACU and extended stay (23-hour) care.
• Participate as an essential member of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience.
• Valid New York State RN License.

Additional Information

The position involves wearing hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops, along with adhering to infection prevention measures as needed in procedural areas.
