Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits nurses looking to thrive in the dynamic environment of Diagnostic Imaging. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients undergoing various imaging procedures, including CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, and interventional radiology (IR).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients in the Diagnostic Imaging department.
• Assist in imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
• Employ critical thinking abilities to assess patient needs and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with a team-oriented approach to provide comprehensive patient care.

Schedule

This is a 40-hour position consisting of 8-hour shifts, covering days and evenings, with occasional weekend availability required. There are no holiday or night shifts.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Current New York RN license is mandatory.

Certifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Additional Information

All staff members are required to wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops, in addition to following infection prevention measures when necessary in procedural areas.
