Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role requiring 1+ year of experience and ARRT R certification, with first-time travelers accepted.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit with potential floating to Cath Lab and EP as needed
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday with a variable day off
• Weekend availability required for call only
• Call requirements include 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend rotation based on staffing volume
• Uses Epic charting system
• Uses Philips and Siemens equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology
• ARRT R certification required, ARRT VI preferred
• BLS required, ACLS preferred
• License required if applicable
• Epic experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skills in venous access, central line care, angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, and biopsy procedures
• Experience with vascular, genitourinary, neurological, and hepatic interventional procedures
• Ability to perform EKG lead placement and maintain equipment
• Two supervisory references (Manager or above) strongly preferred at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including vascular, genitourinary, neurological, and hepatic studies
• May float to Cath Lab and EP to assist with required procedures based on unit demand
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract, finalized prior to consideration
• Holiday coverage required per facility policy based on number of major holidays occurring during the assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Previous Piedmont employees or travelers must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers who cancel or receive a facility DNR must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying
• Full compliance required to start on time; missing compliance may delay start by two weeks due to biweekly orientation scheduling
