Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) night shift position requiring 1-2 years of critical care experience and IN or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Fast-paced intermediate care unit (IMCU/Telemetry) within a hospital setting
• 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 5:1 or 4:1
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required, primarily to Med/Surg
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• 1-2 years of recent critical care experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced intermediate care unit
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Holiday blackout dates may apply depending on facility need
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
