Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) night shift position requiring IN or compact RN licensure and 1-2 years of critical care experience.

Details

• IMCU/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 5:1 or 4:1
• Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to Med/Surg required
• Block scheduling not available
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of recent Critical Care experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Fast-paced intermediate care unit environment
• Holiday blackout dates dependent on facility need
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
