Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nurse in Lake Havasu City. This position involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients with a focus on a variety of acute conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, and other critical illnesses. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing care in a community hospital setting that is accredited by the Joint Commission and serves as a regional referral center.

Job Details:

  • Position Description: No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but are not guaranteed. Orientation sessions are held weekly.
  • Required Qualifications: Current State License, 2 years recent acute care experience, and experience specifically in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The unit serves adult and geriatric patients, with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3 and is equipped with Medhost EHR. Responsibilities include caring for patients with conditions such as acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, and post-CABG care. Candidates must be able to report within 30 minutes when placed on call and have recent acute care experience.
