Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit position requiring 2+ years of recent acute care experience and travel nursing background.

Details

• Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds
• Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional unit with 30 beds
• Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma facility
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
• Treats conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG pod 2, acute respiratory failure, and atrial fibrillation with RVR
• Also treats post-surgical ALIF and XLIF spine patients
• Uses Medhost EHR system
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirements apply
• Float requirements include Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds for admitted patients
• Weekly orientation offered

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering access to outdoor recreation, mountain ranges, and lake scenery
• Within driving distance of Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon National Park, and Los Angeles/San Diego
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate eligibility
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
