Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMC (Intermediate Care/Stepdown) position requiring 2+ years of recent acute care experience and prior travel experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit within a community hospital and regional referral center
• Level 3 trauma center and Joint Commission accredited facility with 171 beds
• 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
• Adult and geriatric patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG, acute respiratory failure, and atrial fibrillation with RVR
• Uses Medhost EHR
• 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Float requirements include Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds for patients up for admission
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time when placed on call

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering access to outdoor recreation, mountain and lake scenery, and proximity to Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel pay rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
