Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intermediate Care/Stepdown position requiring 2 years of recent acute experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Details

  • Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional Care unit in a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center
  • Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
  • 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
  • Adult and geriatric patient population including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG, acute respiratory failure, and atrial fibrillation with RVR
  • Uses Medhost EHR
  • 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call required with a 30-minute response time when called
  • Floating required to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds pending admission
  • 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Active AZ or compact RN license
  • 2+ years of recent acute care experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • AHA certifications required

Additional Information

  • Weekly orientation offered
  • Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, near outdoor recreation, mountain ranges, and lake scenery
  • Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
