Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Ortho unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and night shift availability.

Details

• Med/Ortho unit (not Step-Down)
• 3x12hr Night shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• 36 hours per week
• Uses EPIC charting system
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license, Single State or CO Compact
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA), not expiring prior to start
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg Ortho specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
