Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and 2-3 years of ICU experience.

Details

• ICU unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Float required to PACU, step-down, and ED for holding patients
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (may apply at time of offer)
• CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required
• 2-3 years of related ICU work experience required
• Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management required
• Post-STEMI care experience required
• CCRN certification preferred

Additional Information

• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication tests on Day One of orientation
• No more than one holiday time off request will be accepted
• Required vaccines include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• No separation period required from BILH for this winter staffing need
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius, and local candidates are not accepted for this position
