Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and TCAR certification prior to start.

Details

16-bed mixed medical ICU treating trauma, neurosurgical, and medical patients
Adult and geriatric patient population
Remote and on-unit telemetry monitoring
Standard patient ratio of 2:1
EPIC EMR used
12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
No on-call requirements
May float to Cardiac Stroke unit attached to ICU with a 3:1 ratio
May float to other AdventHealth facilities in the region (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) as needed with at least 2 hours notice for off-site floats

Requirements

Active RN license, Colorado or Compact
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
TCAR certification required prior to start date
COVID-19 vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care within a mixed medical ICU setting
Navy blue scrubs required
Subject to AdventHealth's call-off policy, which may result in mandatory rescheduling to another weekend or holiday if a weekend or holiday shift is missed
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate with no radius restriction
Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
