Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring TCAR certification and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

16-bed mixed medical ICU treating trauma, neurosurgical, and medical patients
Adult and geriatric patient population
Remote and on-unit telemetry monitoring with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Epic EMR used
12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
Floating required to other RMR AdventHealth facilities in the region (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) as needed
May float to the Cardiac Stroke unit attached to ICU with a 3:1 ratio
Notified at least 2 hours prior to shift when floating outside of home site
No on-call requirement

Requirements

Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
BLS certification required
TCAR certification required prior to start date
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
Navy blue scrub color required
COVID-19 vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide critical care nursing to a mixed ICU population including trauma, neurosurgical, and medical patients
Subject to AdventHealth's call-off policy, which may result in rescheduling to another weekend or holiday if a weekend or holiday shift is missed
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate
No radius rule in place
Returning permanent employees must be separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
