Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift ICU RN with CVICU and open heart recovery experience for a hospital-based intensive care unit.

Details

• Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• Night shift, 3x12s (7p-7a)
• 36 hours per week
• Weekends and holidays as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
• Current BLS certification
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• CVICU experience and experience recovering open heart patients required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and treatment implementation for ICU patients
• Coordinate patient admission, transfer, and discharge activities
• Deliver patient and family-centered education and care coordination
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team members and delegate tasks appropriately
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• First-time travelers may be considered
